Floodgates: The highs and lows

by Eurydice (Thursday, July 19th 2012, 7:37pm)

That moment where a writer you like likes your work.

That giddy, almost fangirlish glee. It is intoxicating. Chapter 2 of Floodgates is up, and though my review/follower count is low, I have high hopes for what I can achieve. My writing seems to be pretty solid, no one's complained about much other than some typos (and my pairing of choice) BUT these can be easily fixed (except for the pairing, that's staying).
TO VICTORY! ...

A Story requesed (sorta) by gogeta135

by Spiritprancer (Friday, July 20th 2012, 1:37am)

Reading in
an armchair in her cozy living room, Debbie Shrikes was perfectly content. A
beautiful lightning storm had almost blown itself out. The lamp on the table
next to the chair was set to a low intensity, just enough light to read by. She
held her long auburn hair out of her face with one hand. She set her romance
novel aside just long enough to stand up and light the fireplace across from
her chair then went back to the book. A blush crept across her girlish features
as she read, and she ...

Steam Summer Sale is a Wallet-Eater

by Shiay (Friday, July 20th 2012, 2:01pm)

Welp... that was information everyone knew already, though. I'm just glad I actually had some sort of money to buy some things with -- other things were generously gifted. ; o ;

But now I've run into a problem. With all the new games I have, I'm becoming burnt out on continuing to play and actually complete my Assassin's Creed series -- which is kind of a downer, to be honest. I was hoping to have finished up all the games that are currently out by the time October rolled around that way I coul ...

Thanks Pewdie.

by DakotaJames93 (Saturday, July 21st 2012, 11:51am)

A couple of months ago, while I was in the hospital because of a heart attack brought on by my weak heart and lots of stress, I realized not too many people really cared. I never got a visit, flowers, card, phone call, text, anything. As you can imagine that made me feel very, very sad. Couple of days passed, and while playing on my laptop I found pewdiepie's channel. A couple of videos later and I went from being insanely depressed to laughing as much as I could before it started to hurt. I had ...

It's tough being Asexual.

by DakotaJames93 (Saturday, July 21st 2012, 10:36pm)

Being an asexual male, I've never seen women like other guys do. I would much rather be friends with a woman instead of a partner. Sure, many would say that I've "dated" but in reality it was really just a close friendship. To me, being friends with someone is just as, if not more important than, being their lover. I've met some people who confuse Asexuality with just being too chicken to attempt a relationship with someone. Its not that, its just that I don't feel a need to get into a relations ...

What I don't get.

by GR2 (Monday, July 23rd 2012, 12:37am)

What I don't get...
is why do people hate on each other? In situations that involve:
You see a video yet you say bad things even though you never met that person. You would send death threats and say all these really mean things yet you never met them.
Why would do people say mean ...

Things you really shouldn't do.

by Eurydice (Monday, July 23rd 2012, 1:17am)

Pewdiepie.net edition.

1. Call flamez a koala. DON'T DO IT IF YOU VALUE YOUR TOES.
2. Insult literacy/books around me. The WRITER.
3. Get between Br00tal and his melons. Or his ponies.
4. Do nothing but spout pewdiepie quotes everywhere. It's not funny when YOU do it. And the mods will stuff blue cheese in your nostrils.
5. Randomly insult people's hobbies when they're talking about how much they love them, then get offended when they lash out at you.
6. Do nothing but pester people for livest ...
