Random thoughts

Sunday, October 28th 2012, 10:41pm

So, I felt like writing. And because I haven't written anything on here in a while, I'll just go ahead and do so now. Next question: what to write about? Hm. Why not Alex (as in Leafy), she's someone I care about a lot, and you all know her, so that sounds good. If you continue reading you'll have to deal with a lot of love stuff, so I wouldn't advice reading on in case you are depressed about love in your life. Anyways.
Alex. A girl who is in my thoughts, when I wake up, when I do things throug ...

Move of pewdiepie.net and projectpew.net

Tuesday, October 2nd 2012, 4:12pm

This is just a short update to prepare some people who are actually interested in this.
You probably have noticed more and more problems appearing in the past, not so much about the site itself, moreso about the servers hosting it. Therefor we decided to pack our stuff and move a few weeks ago. The new servers are already rented for a while, and the domains have entered the final stage of transfer yesterday. That means there is about 4 days left until we can fire up our new servers.
In short, yo ...

The Egg

Thursday, September 6th 2012, 7:40am

You were on your way home when you died.
It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.
And that’s when you met me.
“What… what happened?” You asked. “Where am I?”
“You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. No point in mincing words.
“There was a… a truck and it was skidding…”
“Yu ...

Life, work, whatever

Friday, August 3rd 2012, 12:15pm

Just thought I should give you a quick update on what's going on over here, since I'm rather slow and maybe a little inactive lately.
I've been investing some time into working on new projects, instead of improving the old ones, which ended up in the forums running without bigger changes for a while. Those new projects are mostly still secret and to be announced later this year, but just to give you an example, the last days I was preparing the technical stuff for the upcoming radio station. I'v ...

Short roundup

Saturday, June 16th 2012, 4:22pm

I don't have a lot of time, but I felt like this is needed, so i decided to summarize the last days real quick.

1. Project Pew problems

We currently have some problems with our Project Pew server network, resulting in downtimes of servers. At the moment all servers except the Minecraft one are running normally. We have the Minecraft server running in "emergency mode", that means that some plugins are disabled and it's running on low RAM, which makes it slightly instable. We are working ...

Recent downtimes

Friday, April 6th 2012, 10:31am

Hey,
the forums experienced some downtimes in the last week. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by these.

First off, we worked on some functions of the forums, mostly because of our 5000 users update. Usually we're able to work on these things without taking the forum down, but we wanted the update to be smooth.
Secondly our server's HTTP services died, but the tech tem of our hoster fixed it in about 15 minutes to min ...

The next days

Thursday, March 29th 2012, 8:18pm

Hey,
I just wanted to give you a quick summary of the next days for me, because this affects the forum partly.

Basically, I'll have a lot of time for the next 2 weeks, giving me the chance of working on the forum and other Pewdie Productions things. I have some ideas of things I want to do.
Anyways, due to my free time I will also be away for some days because I don't want to work and be at home all the time. I don't own a Notebook and don't plan on buying one, so I'll only be able to manage th ...

Statement on the event

Wednesday, March 28th 2012, 1:51pm

Hey,
as promised I will comment on the third community event.

First off, I'm happy that some people had fun. I'm sorry for the ones who didn't, we will try to compensate for your misfortune. I really appreciate your ideas how to improve the next community event and I will definitely try to use them. But I'd like to take a minute to write about the condtions of organizing this event:
  1. We had very little time to get everything up and running considering this was quite a big event. This ...

"News" section

Sunday, March 25th 2012, 4:46pm

Hey,
this is just a quick update on how I will handle my blog and the "News" section of the forum.

The important news regarding PewDiePie or the forums will still be announced in the forums. Not really important stuff and stuff regarding my personal life will be posted here.
So make sure to check both sections often - I promise there will be interesting stuff.
