[SUGGESTION] Seperate bans for shoutbox

Yes, shoutbox has been shit lately and moderators can only warn for "global" offense (meaning that it will count towards the warning count and possible bans) , rather then kicking him out of the shoutbox for some time. I think this should be possible since then the shoutbox would be a way better place. The shoutbox ban doesn't count towards warning points (but a "global" warning can be assigned to punish someone who went over the top ofc.) and can be used to let someone "cool down" for some time.

Seriously , something needs to change. All the scheisse going on in the shoutbox ruins it for everyone.

I think we(by we I mean the mods/admins) should be able to punish someone by giving them a timeout from the shoutbox itself. From 1 hour to 24 hours depending on the offense. Multiple offenses will be multiple days of suspension, 48 hours-72 hours etc.

Further upon further offenses should be a permanent ban from the shoutbox.

I do like your idea though :)

You are basically repeating what I said but only said more timebased information. I'm talkin about the bans in global lol.

Timeout/Message Delete? Clear shoutbox? Just like twitch/jtv. Except JTV is the best thing in the world.(italics = sarcasm)

I agree with Br00tal, shoutbox policies might come handy.
And yes, the ban idea seems good.

Well it should be possible to close down the shoutbox for certain users, because M have removed the shoutbox several times before.
Its just a hella lot of coding.

I think that people should't care cuz no matter what you do there are pepz that don't listen and will go out of the to keep going, and if pepz can't handle it or there just not mature enough then so be it, there are 2 simple options, delete the chat boxes and find Alt. if possible, or just say out of sight out of mind
