How to get noticed on YouTube? I seem I can`t... :(

Hey bros, as some of you might have saw, I have this gaming YouTube channel HERE, currently sitting at about 45 subscribers.

Since I am very new by the "YouTubing standards",(I created the account three months ago but only started uploading after like 1 month), it`s hard for me to get noticed, or even get a stable group of viewers, so many times I only have to self-promote. Either annoying gaming communities, or get ignored, like in here too XD. I already got trough the phase "Wait, wtf am I doing? People don`t even watch my videos, is this even worth my time?" , but thanks to a friend I kept on making videos.

So an advice would really come in handy from those of you bros who already been trough this and now own a pretty big YouTube channel. My question/s simply are: How did you got noticed? You just kept on making videos and eventually people started subcribing, then the world would spread trough their friends and finally you were getting a stable flow of subscribers? Have you collaborated with a bigger YouTube channel?

Please don`t step by ignoring this, I could really use some advice. If you got the time, it would be great to tell me, as short or as long as you can, how your YouTube channel grew.

Ive had my channel for a few months now and I have 170 subscribers. It takes time and a few strategically placed advertisements but I now have a few people who regularly watch and comment my vids. Just keep making vids, have fun and they shall come! I would also suggest considering a step away from Minecraft and Amnesia. Unless you are RIDICULOUSLY entertaining, there are plenty of other tubers doing those games. Try to find more obscure stuff, and upload videos of that. I tend to find obscure experimental titles and bring my own personality to those videos to try and stand out.

Another tactic I use is to check popular youtubers twitter accounts, see who they are @replying to and follow their fans. Generally, they will see a new follower and check out who you are, maybe they will click your channel and sub you! It's worked a few times for me so its good to do when you're bored.

I went through what youre thinking, because i kept finding channels who i *know* aren't as entertaining as i am with tens of thousands of subs and a cult following (naming no names - not pewdie by the way), but then I notice that those channels have been around for years and years.

It all takes time!

3 months ago and 45 subscribers. It's pretty good in my opinion. In my opinion there is nothing you can do because you are doing your best in your videos. Being funny etc. Some people get really popular in really short time for their video being funny and that leads into a viral video with over 1 million views and more subscribers but i don't know how thats supposed to happen lol. I watch your videos whenever I can

I guess you you could Add more Tags on the videos like something funny or secret there.
also make interesting Titles.
and play interesting games that are fun to watch like horror games mostly.
maybe have other Lets Players as a guest on your let's play (ofcourse some fun multiplayer)

Yep, sure thing. It`s amazing how much power words have. If you have a little bit of time you can search trough my Let`s Play Minecraft episodes and you will see how in one episode, I was like dead sad, I announced that I wouldn`t be doing anymore videos, atleast for the Minecraft series...But the next day I came with a new episode and announced I`m going to continue making vids, that thanks to a friend to motivated me.

I saw a couple of guys say the same. I'll take on a break. I can't do it anymore but I tried to motivate them. I mean, my first playthrough ,which really sucks at talking but gameplay wise awesome, has 100+ parts. and my views are so little. Then I have played couple more playthroughs, 3 games that I didn't finish for some reasons. PSX games are so long. Play games that YOU are having fun. Eventually, the viewers will come.xD

Just hang in there :3

I have 12 subscribers but almost 250 video views, which is good enough for me! And that's only with 8 videos so far, so ~30 views per video(well I JUST uploaded my 8th yesterday). Right now I'm doing Amnesia and since I have only played up until the elevator I just restarted myself and recorded onwards. Right now I'm in a whole new place(the Cistern) and it's a very fun game!

Later on I will do custom stories, CoD clips for messing around xD, BF3 clips, and probably some voice stuff here and there since I do have a deep voice that some love so...haha.

Hmmph

It will take a while before your channel gains momentum.
I think for me it took about 5 or 6 months of promoting it to friends, etc.
Once I had a few high quality videos, it wasn't hard to get a few new subscribers every now and again.

I think luck has a lot to do with it.
I got lucky with one of my videos, and it pushed me in the right direction.

Just hold on, keep having fun with it, and it WILL get popular if you have the energy and time to maintain it! :3
