Act I - Chapter XII - His Twin, His Demon Brother
“Br00tal…” I said and looked at him. “Eh, maybe help me up?” He said and me and Flamez helped him up on his feet. “We need to get all these people down to safety.” He said and looked at me. I blushed. “How did you get here?” Flamez asked and looked at everyone lying in a big pile. “Heiko teleported us here. From the Second Dimension” He said and looked down. Br00tal started to dig in his pockets and his expression changed when he noticed that he got something in his pocket. He took it up and looked it up. Flamez eyes opened widely and he grabbed the card. He slid it in a nearby code checker. Two characters popped up in red. “9E” Br00tal read. “You have access everywhere with that card.” I said. “We have to get all to the 3A Section, the Advanced Research Level. Wake everyone up and lets move.” We went back to the huge pile of people and woke them up.
Xebaz, Dano, Br0han Leafy, Vics, Saints, Alice, Linus Left and Stool was walking behind us and everyone entered the elevator. Br00tal slid the card in the device and it says “Welcome back Heiko” Leafy started to panic again and Xebaz calmed her down. The elevator doors opened - it was dark and dead silent. Stool came and took the flashlight from Flamez and kept walking in the dark office. A deep and heavy breathing was coming from a massive sealed door. “Br00tal, It says 6D…” Stool said and looked at us. Someone banged on the door behind Stool and he jumped. “Move, I need to get through.” Linus said and walked past everyone and went to the workbenches. “This is bad.” Linus said and picked up a paper with signatures on it. “Flamez twin brother decided to take a test-virus that makes him extremely intelligent.” Flamez looked at him and snapped the paper. “But the thing is, if the virus backlashes and dont get accepted by your body - your entire body will mutate into a vile being.” Linus said and pointed at the door. “The virus got rejected.”
The banging on the door became more frequent and growls and grunts sounded through the door. “We need to go back now” Leafy said. “Moira, use your card” She continued and I slid my card in the device. “The elevator wont move.” I said. Everyone started to panic. “Calm down everyone” Linus said and held up a blueprint. “Here is the map of the Paragon Complex” He continued and looked at us. “Hey, thats not a normal map!” Flamez said and grabbed a corner of the map. “I took it when we got ported to the archives.” Linus said and pointed on the map. There is only one route down as far as I know.” Linus said and slid his finger on the map where we were heading.
“There is a safety hatch through 6B Research Room up to the Surveillance rooms. We go through the B level and into the Offices 2A,B and C all the way to the other elevator. Then we are back to the Archives where we take the securty hatch down to the Forum Moderation room. At that state, we are just meters from the Elevator area where we take it down to the ALaISA Control Room.” Linus gaspes after air and continued. “And we have to go now.” Flamex had almost destroyed the door. “Go go, we need to hurry!” Br00tal said and grabbed my hand. I blushed.
Everyone went up the stairs and I was last. Flamex destroyed the door and walked in the dark room. I locked the hatch and he instantly started to hit it violently. “He is on his way!” I shouted and everyone looked at me with troubled faces. We climbed up quickly and ran through the hallways. Echoes came from the elevator area and I saw how the doors at the 3A section almost got smashed in by him. No one stopped. It seemed like the facility was dead. No one was here. Flamex pierced the door and peeled it open and swung himself into the room. He noticed me and Stool in the back and we kept running through the last hallway before the light-elevator to the offices. Everyone was already up there and they were waiting for us. Moira and Alice reached out their arms and I threw myself towards Moira that pulled me up. Stool was running slower and they was about to turn off the light-elevator. Alice jumped down - in the last second, Flamez grabbed her foot and everyone helped to get Stool up. We had no time to waste - we ran through the offices, jumped over all the tables and monitors. Stool was still struggling getting past everything and when we were at the elevator gap everyone jumped and made it. It was just me, Moira and Stool - I was waiting for Stool to come. Flamex wasn’t far behind. I jumped over and stretched out my arms. Flamex was getting closer and closer. Stool jumped - but missed my hand.
