I am not using, what you call, "Xray" yet, as soon as I touch minerals that are put like this they go away even before the block gets punched out, and it's tideous as hell because I get sad...

Serverside latency? I know that stuff has happend to me before on different servers. Either it was my connection or it was the server.

Its due to lag and the fact that the server has an anti xray addon (unsure about the name) unless you didnt know by now
