Lag/Timing correction *When editing* when face recording!

Hello bro's! I need some tips and help if it would be alright. I am wanting to record my face when I try some scary games like Amnesia and SCP but when I record my face *I tried Movie Maker* there is always that 1-2 second lag before I Alt-Tab into the game and record with FRAPS.

Now I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Production Suite to edit my videos ((Much preferred over Movie Maker. Plus it was a Christmas gift so free is awesome!!)) and I can get it right down to the wire when it comes to trying to sync up the facial reactions and gameplay but if I am even a tiny bit off ((Which I have been on every attempt so far)) my voice sounds like it echoes ((Two separate audio streams, one from the gameplay / mic and I am guessing the webcam and mic.)) Is there something I am doing wrong here, do I need to trim even closer until perfection happens or I am looking over something horribly basic? XD

If anyone is interested and just incase. My setup is thus:
A Blue Snowball Mic
Logitech 920 Webcam
GTX 560 Ti 2GB
Logitech G550 Keyboard
Logitech G500 Mouse
AMD Phenom II X4 3.6 Quad Processor ((I am upgrading that to the FX-8150 soon. :3 ))
8 Gig of RAM. ((Getting a new MoBo so that will be either 16 - 32 soon. :3 ))
Asus 27' LED Monitor

Uhhhh....I forget what else I used to build it. >.<

I am in no hurry for responses *At work at the moment. :P * But anything that would point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

When i use facecam and gameplay, i record my voice through Fraps and not the cam-recorder.
Before starting to record, i make a sync-move or say something when i do a thing ingame and memorize it.

When i edit, i cut away that and i have a perfectly synced cam+video+sound.

Like...when you start recording via Facecam you could say "Boop" or "Start" before you hit "F9" ((My button for Fraps recording)) and just cut away the beginning few seconds?

1. Starts both recordings
2. Makes a sound and a move ingame to memorize where to cut

When i edit, i sync the sound and the move i made, check scares or such before cutting it away.

You can just lock the framerate at a good number. Then the Sound and video will be synced as long as your computer can handle the frame rate you give it. And then use what brutal said for the video.
