What can we do to boost our channel views/subscribers?

Your age: 15

Genre: F.P.S. and sandbox gaming

Your time doing this: 6 months

Future events/plans you have: Hopefully more views

Me and three of my friends are going on six months of running a gaming channel together and we have managed to get only 12 subscribers. (mostly people we know) I think most of the reason why is because of a lack of exposure. Do any of you know of anyway to advertise our Youtube channel? We try to keep from "spam-blasting" on other channels. Thanks in advance!

I used to blast views with Blackhat techniques , but it results @ your account being suspended. I have some other tactics to get viewers , around like 500 a day if i want to on 1 video while it isn't illegal and there are actually people watching. but i'd rather do not share it. (although i might share a minor legal procedure on how to get more views on the forum)

Also i took a quick look at one of your vid and the first thing i saw which can be improved is your tags, the more the better , the more relevance the better. Well , there is a way to get more viewers but it is highly unlikely that it will result in thumbs up is that you just add tags about a hype in the world etc.

You should also try to make unique video's since when i looked @ that Giant waterdome thingy , i already knew that it was made with worldedit or any other plugin. and if it is not made with that , then sorry but it can be made with 3 simple commands with it.

Your intro is also way too long for smaller videos and lasts like 1/2 of the whole video and that pisses people off (and yes i'm talking about that 9/11 thingy , it lasted 27 seconds of the 57 seconds).

And the biggest thing , it is actually quite boring to watch.

Oh yeah , i have one technique. but i doubt you have a gameserver on any source game. I force url's on people ingame so they visit websites like youtube etc.

Thanks for the ideas. As for the thing about view blasting we would really like to do everything "legitly" thanks though. As for the the intro thing if you notice we have recently uploaded a new shorter intro, and \are currently in the process of changing the old videos to the new intro.
