Hehe, I tried to beat people to the punch by making a Let's Play,

but as it turns out, the servers for Grey were so overloaded that I just now got the download.
Oh well. xD

Within the next few hours. The game looks pretty scary.

Yeah, the bandwidth for the download servers were over the limit. If you tried downloading from their website, the est. time would spike up like 1hr-9hrs.

I think I'm just gonna do a bit of streaming for this game. I've been waiting for this when news came out years back.

Wow, really? An overpowered double barrel shotgun at the START OF THE GAME if you donate? They just killed the atmosphere doing that.

And, for a mod that claims to be better than CoF, it does a pretty shoddy job IMO.

At least the TMP in CoF you have to search for it after a few chapters and it does as much damage as a glock.

Also, one of the unlockable weapons is Applejack from MLP: FiM, really?

This is just my opinion.

I'm a donator to, I chosed not to redeem it since I heard it would be overpowered. I agree it kills the atmopshere and overall purpose, they could've put it somewhere better and later in the game.

I've been playing Cry of Fear and Grey, and I really only see the dark, grungy textures and scenery as anything related. Sure, the theme is similar, but the mod seems to hold up on its own.
I already started my Let's Play and so far it's a bit slow, but I've already heard of people getting pretty deep into the game and saying there's A LOT of awesome scares and things that freak you out.

I am pretty damn excited about it. Even gained a few subscribers over the series alone. xD

As to the monsters, I can see SOME relations. At the same time, I don't believe you guys would understand some decals:
Minuit (some will, some wont. Pewds might notice this in the playthroughs)
