Hey bros, i wont be able to reply for a few days to any responses to this but ill ask either way. For anyone that does youtube videos or lets plays youll know commentary is very important. But i have one main issue, my voice can be very mono tone. Dose anyone know how to over come this and actually sound more lively when doing videos? Any suggestions are appreciated! :thumbsup:

My awesome advice, try to grab attention with words. It mainly matters how funny you are. Like luclinwmb or something like that. He has a lot of fans for his minecraft lets plays, yet he has a very boring and monotone voice. Maybe watch some videos and see how he does it.

I agree with this fully. Don't act or be something other than who you are. Getting really into the game you're playing is fun , but if you're trying to change yourself in a way that's not you for views, your audience will see it. This is a big reason why people who try really hard to advertise their channel and put too much effort into it usually do not go very far.

Just be yourself

If you're still looking for more help, I'd suggest watching other Youtubers. Study what they do and what makes them good. I even have a notepad full of tips and advice other Youtubers have kindly given me over the past few weeks.
The strangest yet helpful piece of advice I can give you is this:

Commentate on your life. You can say it in your head or say it out loud. For example. Walk into your local shopping mall. Commentate what you're doing. What you're shopping for. How do you feel about it.

Other than that. Just keep having fun
