The shoutbox was most likely created so that people can actually chat with each other and not have to constantly go through threads just to talk. Also it is the easiest way for PewDie to talk to us bros when he does come on the site, so getting rid of it may be more of a hindrance than a help to the forums.

well the shoutbox is shitty at times but it really helps the people to socialize with fellow bros

Hello, well I must leave my opinion here, Part of the reason I never come on anymore is because I dislike how certain people (not naming anyone) converse on the shoutbox with such a belief to be superior to another individual either knowledge wise or just in general even though many who do partake in this action are quite young people who also don't show as much respect to everyone as they should. Just my opinion, I am allowed to have one

my only problem is when it lags and spams messages. I have been banned for it before :/ not saying they should remove it but they should think about either changing it or fixing this problem somehow

hm.. wel.. We all know the shoutobx has turned to hell in a hand basket. But we cant suspect itll be perfect in the first place. W all have opions and choicesnd many people do not agree. That is to be expected, we ar humans.

The shoutbox can be an total ass alot but without it, i wouldnt have met the people I have now. So we either buck up and do soething about these promblems or complain bout them.. which is your choice?

The people who know me knows how I feel about this forum and it's memberbase and the rest of humanity. And because you know that about me you probably guess I wouldn't give 2 fiddles about most of this forum and especially the shoutbox.

But since I'm bored at the moment and I have a lack of human interaction or interaction at all I thought I'd give you some helping tips. (I say "helping" rather sarcastically since I am just bored and haven't really thought about this that much.)

1. Get stricter mods and/or rules. I've seen many mods being rather uncertain of what to do with brats and doodoofaces in the box. And I think you should just give one warning via text in the box, if they keep being doodoofaces then give them a proper warning and then, if the problem persists, fukken ban 'em. That could also differ on the degree of doodoofacing, if they're being proper bumpushers just ban them immediatly.

2. Remove the shoutbox.

3. Have the shoutbox hidden for people until they have posted 5-20 posts or so to ensure they're not jackasses.

4. Try to get a bot or something, even though most moderator bots are very buggy and works awfully.

5. Try to get an addon of sorts to the shoutbox where users can properly report via the box instead of trying to remember time and date when the offense happened.

6. Fling poop like monkeys.

7. Body slam users or punch them in the head.

8. That's all I got, can't think of anything else.

That's all for me, if none of these suggestion seem good or are available solutions... Poopfiddles.

The rules are strict enough as it is. And getting stricter mods would mean probably an unpleasant experience in the shoutbox whenever their there. The shoutbox is a opinion exchanger, and whether you like the opinions or not it aint gonna change. No matter how many mods we get people are still gonna go apeshit at people. And yes while mods are there to issue warning/bans and break it up, mods aren't always there. My only advice is allowing moderators being able to set time bans on users from the shoutbox.

I just want stricter mods. And as Flamez says - a major improvement would be to disable the shoutbox for certain users X amount of time.
