Magic the Gathering: Online

Not exactly the "action-y" games most online multiplayers are, due to this being the online version of the paper Magic the Gathering trading card game. Looking for other bros who play MTGO/MODO, especially Commander, to have people to talk with about deck ideas and such and play games with. If you play Magic the Gathering: Online, post your username here and what you generally play (Commander, Standard, 1on1, Multiplayer, etc).

Feel free to add me as a buddy, but just remind me who you are/where you're from (this site) if you do.

Username: Nacatlfleetfoot
What I Play: Commander (That's pretty much it)

Edit: For those who haven't tried it, you can download the client for free and play a trial version before purchasing if you want:

Well, if you're ever interested in learning how to play, give me a holler on Skype and I'll do my best to teach you. It's can be a great strategy game. The only downside is making an account costs $10, but that includes a beginner's pack of a booster pack, 2 tickets, and a planeswalker deck pack (Planeswalker cards are gold bordered cards that cannot be sold or traded that can only be used in the "Pleneswalker" format), and I think about 300+ assorted commons & uncommons. Usually you can sell that booster pack for 3-4 "tickets", which, btw, is the games currency equivalent to about $1.

Anything other than Pauper or Commander can get expensive but my Commander decks, for example don't go over 5 tickets and there are even bots (Automated stores, essentially) that will give you upwards of 64 free commons (One even does this once a month and there's another that will have you answer a MtG related trivia question once a week for 4 free cards).

To be honest? While it can have some complex rules interaction, overall it's actually pretty simple. I'll write up something for you to help explain and hit you up on Skype with it.

If you're unsure, they have a trial you can try after downloading the client to see if you like it or not. I'll go put the link in the OP.
