Need help with Afraid of Monsters :(

Well, i installed the mod afraid of monster... and when i start to play suddenly the game shut down and says:
Fatal Error
Cache_Tryalloc:12708976 is greater then free hunk and i don't know why... (I don't use Steam)
please help :/

The fix would be easy on Steam. Like so:

You need to have Half-Life bought on steam , in order it to work

I have steam and Half life and the -heapsize 512000 didnt work for me :(
