How to install Custom Storys for Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Installing Custom Stories!

Hey Bros! In the this tutorial I will show you how to install custom stories to Amnesia!

1) You need to download a custom story from somewhere.
I recommend Moddb
2) You will need to extract that archive you just got put the contents somewhere safe!
3) Now you will need to locate your custom stories folder!
This should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\amnesia the dark descent
4) Now you will have to put the folder you extracted into the "custom_stories"
Make sure you extract the folder that should have "Maps" in it
5) You're done! Go load Amnesia and press the Custom Story button in the menu!

You can download CS's from here. (FG website).

And for retail versions of the game you will need to go here

C:\Program Files\amnesia the dark descent\redist\custom_stories.
(Please note this is based off speculation (Based off my memory c: )

And torrented versions of Amnesia will most likely not work due to missing files.

Total conversion:

Extract everything from the .rar or .zip file and merge the folders into the Amnesia directory (models into models, sounds into sounds). And place the .bat file into the amnesia directory and launch the .bat file. c:

Not sure, though when I tried downloading it as the OP stated, it didn't work, though once I downloaded it for Desura, it worked perfectly with my Steam :/
