I'm with a lot of people in this thread. How did you not know it's real? You must go to public school or something (Joking)

Laudanum caused serve hallucinations, mood swings and all the other various loveliness that goes with opium and cocaine. Now taking that into account, think of Amnesia. Yeah, chances are none of that really happened and Daniel was just having a really bad Laudanum trip. That's the only explanation I have for the flying naked guy.
Another side effect of Laudanum was used mostly as a sleeping aid, which it proved way too effective since it had a rather high morality rate.
